Undergraduate Intern / Co-op Program Overview-
3-month intern/co-op from May 2025 to August 2025 within a functional area of MKS Instruments that provides students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends.

A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Product Marketing Intern at Newport Optical Components Business, you will partner with Engineering, Internal Teams, Sales, Customers and Product Managers to support business marketing initiatives. In this role, you will report to the Senior Global Business Development Manager.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Authoring digital and print copy for product and marketing initiatives.
Coordinating social media marketing content and release schedule.
Upgrading existing marketing assets such a brochures and catalogs.
Upgrading product web pages leading to an increase in page views and customer use.
Being a member of the Global Market team that has responsibility for overall marketing program.
Supporting new product launches with Marketing assets.
Being involved with a Team that is using optics to make the world a better place to live.
Travel Requirements: Up to 5% of Travel may be required.
Skills You Bring:
Rising senior enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Marketing or Business program
Proficient in Microsoft suite of products
Excellent writing skills
Knowledgeable of various social media outlets
Some basic knowledge of science is preferred

Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Pay: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co-ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.
