JOB SUMMARY: Organize and manage all activities and events of the junior class.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize dates, times in coordination of events for junior class activities.
Review requests and deposits, and maintain records, for vendor reimbursement of services.
Organize and facilitate sales campaigns to fund junior class events ensuring that students receive merchandise and reimburse vendors.
Correspond with businesses that provide services for the prom and class trip.
Supervise junior class officers outside of school time.
Organize events and manage student organization of teams, artwork and activities for Color Day.
Plan events for Homecoming week; supervise students during bonfire and other related homecoming activities.
Organize chaperones and medical staff and assign duties for the junior class trip; supervise students during junior class trip to ensure their safety.
Organize itinerary and coordinate hotel accommodations; collect payments and coordinate financial obligations of students.
Maintain contact with parents for all junior class activities; organize duties of parents acting as chaperones for the prom.
Coordinate Vo-tech students’ activities.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
STIPEND: $2,295 per school year
