Overview

We are seeking a Human Resources Intern to join our corporate HR team in St. Petersburg, FL.  As an HR intern, you will work with collaborative teams on various technical projects associate with our core mission. As part of the Human Resources team, you will report directly to the Sr. HR Manager.

 

This internship is in-person at our St. Petersburg, FL location during WInter Break 2024. 

 



Major Position Responsibilities

  • Assisting in updating new hire packet and relocation process.
  • Support Root Cause/Corrective Action efforts for specific HR related actions.
  • Prepare HR-related reports as needed.
  • Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms.
  • Assist in the recruiting process including screening resumes, scheduling interviews, obtaining feedback, and processing new hire paperwork.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 



Basic Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled or accepted into a 2-4 year accredited college or university or have graduated in the last 6 months
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s within Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources, or other related field is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work well with a diverse employee population are essential.
  • Must demonstrate organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, using discretion and independent judgement.
