Marketing Intern

River Valley Cooperative is looking for a dynamic individual to join our Marketing team as a Summer Intern. We are looking for safety-minded people who are collaborative team players, and are ready and excited to make a difference.

For over 100 years, River Valley’s purpose has been to be the premier provider of agricultural products and services to businesses and individuals within our markets.

What You’ll Do:

• Participate in Training sessions with our experienced Marketing Professionals. 
• Participate in coordinated Field Trips to vendors and suppliers within our industry.
• Tour River Valley facilities and learn about all areas within our company (Grain, Feed, Agronomy and Energy)
• Work with a Mentor to receive a guided learning experience. Interns will work directly with their mentor daily. 
• Join a board meeting to gain insight to their perspective as member-owners, as well as board members.
• Represent River Valley at local summer Fairs
• Complete an assigned a summer-long project to report on at the close of their internship.

What you’ll bring:

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Some college coursework completed.
• Ag background preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Valid Driver’s License Required.

Working Conditions:

May be exposed to dust, noise, heat, cold, ag chemicals and vapors, and moving machinery on occasion as part of this position. May be required to work long hours in season, as well as work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
