● George Mason University Hackathon Organizer: A part of the recruitment committee to
gather sponsorships and mentors from various companies to participate in the
hackathon. Researched and helped create comprehensive workshops for the event.
Moderated and led student workshops throughout the event as well.
● Governor’s Challenge in Economics and Finance: Represented high school in both the
regional and state Governor’s Challenge competition. Took tests and competed in a quiz
bowl that contained questions about AP Macroeconomics and AP Microeconomic topics.

● Tutor high school students in high school level math courses.
● Successfully helped students raise their test scores by an average of 20%.
● Assemble lesson plans to administer to students and keep them on track with assignments.

Kumon, Fairfax VA — Academic Tutor
April 2020 – November 2020
● Tutor K-12 students in mathematics and language arts.
● Keep records of academic performance and apply this information to address areas of improvement for students.
● Routinely communicate with the parents of the students to update them about the student’s progression.

PROJECTS
● Weather Application that utilizes OpenWeather web API to extract information from a weather database. The application allows users to find out the temperature based on the input of their city or zip code location. Java
● Fitness Application that utilizes interfaces implementation to present users with calorie calculations and daily/weekly exercises they would like to do based on the muscles they would like to target. The application also identifies users based on their profile. Java
● League of Legends Discord Bot that analyzes and displays live match information based on the commands that the user inputs through Discord. Utilizes API to extract specific data needed in live game analysis. Java
