Vast is looking for a Finance Intern to work closely with the CFO and finance team to conduct market research and financial analysis in support of building the world’s first commercial space station.
This full-time internship will start in January or February 2025, with a duration of 12-weeks at our Long Beach, CA Headquarters.
During this internship, you may gain experience in:
- Investor Research and Fund Analysis
- Financial Modeling and Analysis
- Database and Systems Management
- Data-Driven Reporting
- Presentation and Communication
- Ad-hoc Modeling and Profitability Optimization
Responsibilities will vary depending on the intern’s area of expertise.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, Statistics, Finance, or a non-finance major with a demonstrated interest in finance or business
- PowerPoint or Google Slides experience
- Excel or Google Sheets experience
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Highly analytical with a strong understanding of quantitative methods and attention to precision
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate challenges from multiple perspectives
- Strong written and oral communication skills to drive consensus across teams
- Able to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Experience in critical thinking to develop grounded recommendations and optimize impact
Pay Range
- $33/hr Bachelor’s
- $38/hr Master’s
Salary Range: California
$33 – $38 USD
