Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field; 5 years related experience.
Job Summary:
To provide direction, planning, leadership, supervision, and overall management of a training function. Plans, implements, and evaluates a variety of professional and technical development programs for all employees.
Job Duties:
- Coordinate all aspects of training logistics, including scheduling sessions, arranging facilities and resources, and ensuring trainers and participants have the necessary materials and support.
- Collaborates with management to assess training needs and develop strategies that align with the department and university’s long-term goals, ensuring that staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Oversees the development of curriculum and training materials, ensuring they meet user needs and adhere to educational best practices, while staying informed about the latest methods and trends in training and education.
- Maintains and manages the ongoing operations of the training program, ensuring its smooth execution, regular updates, and alignment with evolving institutional goals and best practices in education and training.
- Utilizes modern technology and digital tools to enhance training content, delivery methods, and overall program efficiency, staying up-to-date with emerging trends in educational technology.
- Performs all supervisory duties.
- Evaluates current procedures, policies and practices to develop and implement alternate methods designed for improvement of work.
- Identifies appropriate internal controls for department; creates and provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.
- Performs related duties as required.
Salary Range:
$68,307 – $88,800; Commensurate with experience.
