McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a full-time Strategic Partner Management Technology Intern at the Global Corporate Headquarters located at 24 Schilling Road, Hunt Valley, Maryland.  This is a 10-week internship (June 2023 – August 2023) which requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Our 10 week Summer Internship Program in Hunt Valley, MD allows college students to get a glimpse into what it’s like to be a part of the McCormick family – rich in flavor, culture, and employee empowerment. 

 

During your time as an Intern you will sharpen your leadership skills, work on real-world challenges, and collaborate with the best leaders in the industry.  You will also have the opportunity to network with executives, participate in social events with other interns, and give back to the community. Our summer internship program with the IT Strategic Partnerships team allows college students to get a glimpse into what it’s like to be a part of the global McCormick family – rich in flavor, culture, and employee empowerment. During your time as an Intern, you will sharpen your leadership skills, work on real-world challenges, collaborate with fellow IT team members and interact with some of the worlds largest technology providers. We are looking for a curious and business value minded individual who can spot trends and opportunities, that help drive change within McCormick. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with internal and external partners to identify trends and capabilities from our Strategic Partners that would enable step change and growth that accelerate our adoption of leading-edge technology across the company
  • Update, modernize, methodologies by which we measure value, and the overall tools and solutions we use to measure, manage and communicate about our partnerships
  • Participate in process design to identify efficiency and productivity opportunity

Qualifications

  • In pursuit of Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain/Procurement, Information Technology
  • Creative problem-solving skills, visioning, strategic thinking, cost-benefit analysis.  Aggregate and synthesize disparate data sets.
  • Must be able to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and change directions day to day.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship management skills, excellent listening and research capabilities
  • Ability to use data insights to drive/influence decision making and growth
  • Ability to visualize results and present to peers and business partners
  • Ability and curiosity to learn new technology
