About the Job:
The Senior Technology Project Manager role will be responsible for leading larger programs encompassing complex cross organizational global initiatives while exhibiting a complete understanding of the industry standards and processes. The Senior Project Manager thinks like a businessperson and has a solid Entrepreneurial skillset. Additionally, the role will understand the corporate and department strategies for the Technology Group, PMO and Business areas to enable delivery of projects and programs that are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. This role will be expected to work with little oversight, managing ambiguity, and collaborating with the Technology Leadership team on a frequent basis.
In This Role, You Will:
- Work closely with senior leadership to plan, manage, and execute Technology projects of various levels of scope and complexity.
- Partner closely with third party vendors, as well as Odyssey development teams, to set realistic and cost-efficient expectations.
- Facilitate project communications, including project steering committee meetings and status reports.
- Manage project risks and issues and implement mitigation plans and ensure that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives.
- Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel, including 3rd party vendors, to ensure the project delivers on schedule and within budget.
- Work directly with IT Leadership to develop business cases related specifically to Innovation based initiatives.
- Manages the tracking of benefit expectation and recognition as related to Innovation based initiatives.

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent certifications and work experience 5+ years of experience leading traditional projects implementing complex technical solutions.
- 5+ years of experience working within a hybrid Agile software delivery environment.
- 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional and dispersed project teams
- 3+ years of experience forecasting and tracking project financials.
- 3+ years of experience communicating with business and technology executive leadership.
- Strong strategic decision making & forward-thinking planning abilities to manage resources and deliverables. Broad knowledge of project management techniques, processes, methods, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams and escalate challenges.
- Experience in the supply chain industry a plus
Location: This is an in-office role based in Charlotte, NC
