Job Purpose

  • Evaluate current application support structure and develop and improve support model to align with strategic goals. Champion change and look to improve processes by systematizing simplicity, agility, and modernization.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, listening, and responding to, seeking, and addressing performance feedback and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
  • Work closely with the Agile Project Manager and IT Product Owners to create development tickets, sprint plan, and align on overall strategic goals and roadmaps.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of critical business issues and requirements and recommending IT solutions that provide competitive advantage.
  • Expert at breaking down high level requirements in to smaller technical tickets to gather effort and timeline.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Schedule requirements gathering sessions with key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Elaborate and build out detailed requirements, technical details, acceptance criteria and test scenarios with IT team members assigned on the project.
  • Communicate with BSA, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to peer review tickets.
  • Self starter and ability to prioritize and track project work.
  • Present solution in a way the end user can understand and work with the end user for user acceptance testing.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ Years experience in a Business Systems Analysis role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical mind for problem solving and delivering quality solutions
  • Detailed oriented with organizational skills
  • Prior experience in an agile environment
  • Experience with JIRA, MySql, and Reporting tools
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
