About the Role
Baron Capital is seeking a highly motivated Channel Marketing Senior Associate to join the growing Marketing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, specifically aimed at supporting Baron Capital’s Institutional Channel distribution efforts. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of institutional client types – pensions, endowments, foundations, sovereigns, and corporates and be able to successfully collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and subject matter experts to drive key marketing initiatives.
As a critical member of a highly integrated Marketing Department, the Channel Marketing Senior Associate will be responsible for conceptualizing marketing initiatives and writing and editing marketing content for all media channels. The successful candidate must be able to effectively create engaging content that resonates with the target audience and helps drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Help develop and execute the go-to-market plan for the Baron Capital Institutional and International Channels
- Be a strong partner to marketing colleagues (brand, design, content, events, digital, and product marketing) to bring the best thinking to marketing initiatives and ensure proper alignment of resources
- Manage multiple projects at once and deliver on time and on budget
- Review and analyze campaign data vs KPIs. Communicate results to internal stakeholders
- Represent the voice of the Institutional and International Channels on cross-channel initiatives to ensure thematic and product content is relevant and appropriate
- Create engaging marketing content for the Institutional and International view of the website, social media, and channel-specific communications
- Ensure content is consistent with messaging and brand
- Work with colleagues to best prioritize and package content for different target audiences factoring in types of content (e.g., educational, value add, etc.), channel-specific needs/interests, and media consumption preferences
- Effectively present rationale and ideas to internal stakeholders
- Ensure content is accurate and meets compliance/regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all firm investment capabilities, financial markets, and general investment topics
- Seek to improve processes and effectiveness whenever possible
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 – 7 years of institutional channel marketing experience in the asset management industry
- Superior written communication skills
- Extended hours are occasionally required to meet deadlines
Knowledge and Skills:
- Superior knowledge of mutual funds and separate accounts with an understanding of financial markets and investing concepts
- Deep understanding of compliance rules and regulations
- Track record of executing marketing initiatives with measured results
- Team player with strong collaboration skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, deadline-driven environment
- Test and learn mindset and desire to innovate to drive results
- Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills
- Takes ownership – goes above and beyond without having to be asked or prompted
- Fluent in Microsoft Office – specifically Word, Powerpoint, and Excel

The base salary range for this position is based on skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. It is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. It also participates in the Firm’s 401(k) and Profit-Sharing Plan.
