Job Description
Position Overview: Senior Architectural Project Manager
As a Senior Architectural Project Manager, you’ll serve as both a project leader and a mentor, guiding multiple high-impact projects and supporting marketing initiatives to benefit both our clients and the company. Reporting directly to a Principal, you’ll play a pivotal role in business development, driving revenue growth and building strong client relationships. Your responsibilities will include estimating project fees, defining scopes of work, assisting in proposal development, and managing contracts on complex, large-scale projects. In this role, you’ll also lead junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee architectural projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful outcomes for both CPL and our clients
- Participate actively in business development efforts, building strategic partnerships to enhance revenue and profitability
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, consultants, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects
- Define scopes of work, estimate project fees, and contribute to proposal writing and contract management
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 12 years in architecture with demonstrated expertise in innovative design across diverse project types
- Education: Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Architecture or related field
- Skills: Strong creative design capabilities and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Industry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of current architectural trends, standards, and building codes
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp
- Certifications: Licensed Architect (RA) preferred; LEED and/or WELL accreditation a plus
