School Psychologist Intern Stipend (2025-2026)
$35,000 per year stipendEdS/MS or EdS/MS candidate (minimum 1200 hours)
$40,000 per year stipend PhD or PhD candidate (minimum 1500 hours)
*Stipend may be prorated based on the number of hours needed to complete internship requirements.
Position Summary:
School Psychology Interns collaborate with and work alongside an NCSD Licensed School Psychologist to fulfill university program obligations, delivering training that encompasses a holistic and integrated approach aligned with the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). As School Psychologist Interns, individuals will enhance their expertise in data-driven decision-making, accountability, collaboration, and the implementation of programs and interventions focusing on academic and social skills through an equity perspective. Interns will engage in hands-on experience within a multi-tiered system of support.
North Clackamas School District Model of supervision and supports:
Site supervision with primary supervisor
Weekly group supervision with other interns and an intern group supervisor
Once a month school psychologist meetings with Special Education Coordinator and the building principal
Weekly office hours, as needed, with Special Education Coordinator

Minimum Qualifications:
Complete all university program requirements to complete an internship experience.
Enrolled in an accredited Master’s degree or higher school psychology program.
Enrolled in an internship class with a university program advisor.
Demonstrated successful completion of school psychology practicum experience.
Demonstrated successful course completion in cognitive, behavioral, and academic testing and related skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Skills to apply assessment instruments, intervene in crisis situations, provide counseling, interpret test data, and communicate effectively.
Knowledge of assessment instruments and their application, relevant education eligibility, and state and district policies.
