Job Title:  Sales and Marketing Intern

FLSA Exemption Status: Nonexempt

Status:     Hourly

Department: Private Label and B2B Sales

Reports To: Director of Sales

 

Job Summary:  The Sales and Marketing Intern will be responsible for supporting the department of private label and B2B sales. This key member of the team will, on the daily basis, bring added value to the existing team with tasks planned in advance, as well as missions that will arise as business needs it.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Understand company capabilities and offering for Private Label and B2B business unit
  • Support Sales team to launch project on time and provide our customers with the best service
  • Support project manager with daily tasks, including customer portal, samples coordination, etc
  • Support cross functionally with most departments (R&D, Finance, Customer Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, etc.) to develop and deliver forward looking winning solutions for existing and targeted customers. 
  • Coordinates the services or solutions required to resolve customer issues or requests and ensures satisfactory results.
  • Understand main market we supply and perform store visits to increase awareness about offering and competition
  • Support / improve current Sales tools such as customer’s presentations / Capabilities booklet / sales communications
  • Researches, collects and analyzes data pertaining to industry sales, economic and market trends, current and potential customers, and competitors.  
  • Prepares presentations and reports related to sales, marketing activities, and main KPI analysis
  • Represent the organization in customer, consumer, and supplier interactions, including trade shows and events.
  • Help potential organization of customer’s visits
  • Other duties, as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Currently in a Bachelor or Master in Sales / Marketing / Communication / Business Administration
  • An Entrepreneurial mindset, enthusiasm for innovation, creativity, collaboration.
  • Strong discipline and structure 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface with all levels both inside and outside of the organization who is accurate, detailed oriented, planning, organizing, efficiency and multi-tasking.
  • Ability to take initiative, develop, and seek out creative and innovative ideas in a fast paced, results-oriented environment with Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle pressures of dealing with priorities that change frequently and have very short time frames without losing composure.
  • Fluent in English. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. 
  • Ability to collect and analyze data.
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to drive / travel for work

Working Environment:  

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a teammate encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.  Considerable time will be spent working within an office environment, with regular time on the production floor, in the warehouse area, and outside. The incumbent will be exposed to long periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Exposure to outside weather conditions, wet and/or humid conditions, extreme head and/or cold may occur.  Exposure to loud noises from production equipment and moving mechanical parts will also occur.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the teammate is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to type, handle, or feel objects, equipment, or controls; reach with hands and arms; see, talk and /or hear. The teammate frequently is required to stoop, kneel, bend or crouch, and travels up and down stairs. 

The Sales and Marketing intern may be required to push, pull and lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis and support production or product development as needed.
