Job Description: | UF Information Technology (UFIT) is seeking two talented and highly motivated, part-time Support and Applications Interns to join Research Computing, a unit within UFIT, for the summer semester. The interns will assist with UF Research Computing user support, ticket triage, application installation, and support tool development. The interns will work with Research Computing facilitators, systems staff, and customers as needed. This paid internship is designed to provide students currently enrolled in college an opportunity to learn practical skills and gain experience to propel you into a successful career in Information Technology. Employment with UFIT provides an excellent opportunity to work with other employees dedicated and focused on understanding and interpreting the technological needs of the University of Florida’s innovative and inspirational community. Since all work will take place in the RC support system, HiPerGator, and RC user documentation wiki interns will be able to combine remote work and in-person presence in the RC Support office space in the New Physics Building.
