Quality Assurance Intern
Summary
The Quality Assurance Intern provides assistance to the Hollister, Incorporated, Quality Engineering group to support the Kirksville manufacturing facility in assuring quality products. They will assist in performing studies and process improvements and partnering with Kirksville operations in achieving plant goals.
Requirements
- Dependable, reliable, and responsible.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong computer skills: proficient in Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.
- Able to stand for up to two hours continuously.
- Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Clear oral and written communication
- Able to follow instructions and to work without direct supervision.
Preferred but not required:
- Assist in process improvement studies.
- Improve processes and process control.
- Assist in process capability and qualification studies.
- Assist in developing new test methods.
- Apply quality engineering tools and statistical quality control techniques.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma in pursuit of B.S. or B.A. “STEM” programs preferred, but not required.
