Preschool Teacher

Alliance Center for Education is searching for energetic Preschool Teachers to plan and implement  learning experiences for young children ages 6 months to 5 years.  We are seeking passionate and qualified teachers to join our 10 month or 12 month team.  Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to advance the intellectual and physical development of children, improve the readiness of pre school children for school by developing their literacy and phonemic print and numeracy awareness, improve their understanding and use of increasingly complex and varied vocabulary, improve their appreciation of books, and improve problem-solving abilities and individualization techniques. #ACFEPRE

Required:

• Associate’s Degree (Birth to 3 years classrooms)
• Child Development Associate (3 years to 5 years classrooms)
• Nonrelated Degree with a combination of experience and education considered
• Computer and written/verbal communication skills. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or related degree
• Head Start Experience
• Experience working with children 6 months to 5 years of age
• Excellent written/verbal communication and computer skills

Please note all new hires must provide the following requirements:

• Criminal Background Check w/Fingerprints
• Education Transcript
• Current Physical
• Passing drug screen prior to employment
• Submission to ongoing random drug screening

Compensation Range:  $18.00 – $28.00.  $500 hiring bonus following successful completion of 90 days of employment document by performance evaluation.
