Title: Oracle APEX Developer
Location: Hartford, CT
Duration: Full-time/Permanent
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop a strategy to implement, operate and manage effective database solutions based on Oracle APEX technology together with the entire Oracle APEX team
- Design, development, roll-out and maintenance of Oracle APEX – Applications, mostly in the finance business
- Provide advice and guidance on how to set up efficient processes and workflows in an Oracle APEX environment
- Consult the business in process- and technology related questions and topics
- Manage the whole lifecycle including continuous improvements, incident- and quality management
- Provide quality assurance oversight and management of other consultants/developers on the project
Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Information Technology preferred; Bachelor’s degree in related field required at a minimum
- 3-5 years of experience in design, implementation and roll-out of Oracle-APEX applications
- Advanced skills in PL/SQL, skills in JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Experiences in managing projects in a rapid development environment
- Programming knowledge in VBA (EXCEL) and / or knowledge in Windows-Server administration would be an advantage
- Ability to work in an international team and effectively with people at all levels of the organization
- Strong customer orientation
