Summary of Position Functions
Veregy is excited to offer an internship program designed for high school students within our workforce development plan aims to provide hands-on experience and mentorship opportunities. Selected candidates will collaborate with Veregy’s experienced project managers on a cutting-edge project (Geothermal Well Field) scheduled for completion in 2025. This program fosters a dynamic learning environment where students gain practical skills, industry insights, and real-world experience. Our goal is to cultivate the next generation of talented professionals while contributing to their educational journey by immersing them in the intricacies of sustainable energy solutions. Through this initiative, we aim to empower young minds to innovate and make a meaningful impact in the evolving landscape of energy efficiency, construction management, and environmental sustainability.
Essential Position Functions
- Perform, under close supervision, routine aspects of Construction Management
- Collect and prepare data for evaluation.
- Assist in the ONSITE coordination of projects from beginning to end.
- Provide support to staff members as needed.
Non-Essential Position Functions
- Other duties as assigned.

- Applications will be posted for interested students at any grade level in early November. Applications will be completed through the Veregy website/link provided. Interested applicants will complete a letter of interest/questionnaire and upload a resume to the Veregy website/link provided.

Selection Process
- Students who complete the application will have their resumes and applications reviewed by the district staff and a Veregy Representative. After screening the applications, interviews will be set up with the students who demonstrate an ability for the position. The interview team will consist of the district staff member(s) and a Veregy representative. After the interviews are complete, the selection committee will make a recommendation to the district who will reach out to the student to offer the position.
- Once the candidate is selected, they will need to complete a background check along with finger printing. The candidate’s schedule will be evaluated to see if they can rearrange the schedule so that work throughout the school year can be scheduled during the day and time the Veregy project manager can work with the student.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
