Job Title: National Admissions Intern

Job Location: Remote, Hybrid if located close enough to a Per Scholas for Campus Connect

Reports To: Director, National Admissions

 

Per Scholas’ Admissions team is looking for an intern to support cultivating a pipeline of qualified applicants to help us unlock potential with our tuition-free technology training and professional development opportunities nationwide. In this role, you’ll be helping our team manage prospective applicant communication, data management, and digital outreach in a highly competitive, collaborative, and fast-paced environment to reach ambitious goals as we scale our training model and enter new markets. This is an unpaid internship, however it can be used for school credits.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Assist with prospective learner interviews
  • Assist with the planning of various Admissions/Enrollment events, such as Kick-Off/Orientation
  • Observe and Shadow various members of the National Admissions team as well as the local Admissions teams
  • Outreach to applicants/learners as well as track and provide outreach to internal referrals
  • Resolve form errors for learners in Hubspot and Form Assembly                  
  • Assist in candidate and learner data management working in our Salesforce, HubSpot, and Form Assembly platform, including auditing learner documentation, data entry (assessments, pre-work and interviews)
  • Cultivate professional and effective communication channels with Per Scholas staff, candidates, and key community stakeholders, fostering strong and lasting partnerships.
  • Regularly convene with key Recruitment and Admissions Team stakeholders to strategize and align on shared objectives.
  • Support content development for various ongoing Admissions projects
  • *Additional tasks as needed   

Qualifications

  • Excellent written communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Strong data management skills, problem solving, and organization
  • Strong emotional intelligence, persuasion, and influencing skills; works well on a team
  • Functional expertise in navigating Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc)
  • Must be a fast learner who is savvy with new technologies and systems
