The Medical Education Training team, based in Naples, FL, is responsible for carrying out logistical operations for organization and maintenance activities for educational activities associated with corporate staff and companywide agency representatives. We are searching for an Intern pursuing a medical related degree to assist with initiatives relating to Medical Education. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have excellent communication and organizational skills. Medical knowledge including an anatomical understanding is strongly preferred. This will be a rotating program for all interns to participate in lab, education, clinical, operations and administrative duties.
This internship will run from May 2025 – August 2025. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collecting research material, articles, and peer reviewed literature.
- Develop audio/visual content for use in educational curriculum.
- Cadaveric dissection for anatomy educational material.
- Categorize OrthoPedia Lists.
- Input JIRA request for built assets.
- Review webinar and course assets.
- Collecting and archiving surgeon talks.
- Improving images and overall content/quality of presentations.
- Lab Cleaning and Organization.
- Lab Setup.
- Gather and Prepare Specimens.
- Product Inventory Management.
Education and Experience:
Progress towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in Pre-Med, Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, or any career path in the medical field required. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
- Interest/knowledge of medical field (Pre-Med, PA, PT, any career path in the medical field) required.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills.
- Be able to follow written and verbal direction.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
