Marketing Intern

The Marketing Internship plays a crucial role in the success of the Company. It is with the help of the our Management team to grow sales in a profitable manner, utilizing social media and other various means while being a goodwill ambassador for the Company. This internship will work closely with our sales/service team to gain exposure to all aspects of relationship building.

Essential Functions

• Work alongside management team to develop and execute social media content marketing campaigns on all social media accounts
• Analyze traffic and user engagement data to assess results and optimize content and improve conversations
• Develop social and digital advertising recommendations
• Assist with content development such as blogs, videos, funnel, text, flyers and email
• Contribute to brand strategy that aligns and supports short-term and long-term goals
• Understand the complete line of financial services offered
• Must have a positive can-do attitude and be a continual good will ambassador for the Company
• All other duties as assigned

Education

• Students/Graduates who have or will receive a degree in Marketing, Communications or a similar field
• Understanding of social networks

Skills

• Undergraduate students working towards a Bachelor’s degree in their junior or senior year of study. Sales majors preferred.
• Competitive cumulative GPA. Additional requirements might apply.
• Proficient computer, analytical, decision making, organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills in order to communicate effectively with customers and prospects.
• Experience in sales or client service environment preferred.
• Possess a basic knowledge of financial services – Credit, Taxes, Debt and Loans
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attentive and timely in responses
• Good follow up and ability to multitask
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office
