Internship in Accounting/Finance

The financial accounting intern will be trained and will work closely with an awesome team at Clean Energy Services to provide support to our various business units by performing the following:

• Compile support for AP and AR transactions daily
• Make monthly journal entries: fixed asset depreciation, lease amortization entries and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Maintain vendor contact information
• Help with account rationalization as it pertains to chart of accounts
• Help with research and documentation on certain transactions to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• General clerical duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Working toward an undergraduate degree and either be a current or recent enrollee in the study of accounting
• Good communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Possess natural curiosity for learning and have positive attitude
