Sea Island
In this Entry level position, you will work to support Sea Island Property Management in fulfilling its duties managing properties and member organizations for which it is contracted. You maintain a positive attitude and can work with a variety of people and in cooperation with coworkers efficiently and effectively. You are motivated to act independently, approach owners with confidence. You have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy and can manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
You will learn how to be a liaison between our property owners and Sea Island Association Management to ensure a relationship that is mutually beneficial to all parties involved. You assist property owners in preserving the value of their real estate investment and work with owners, contractors, owner association boards and all departments within the resort to ensure all physical aspects of the units are properly maintained. With your core understanding of basic construction principles and concepts, you will assist the Leadership to be of service to all stakeholders. You walk and assess properties while documenting the inspection and detailing the state of performed services. You work with contractors to obtain estimates for requested work and coordinate scheduled routine maintenance. You will assist in maintaining courteous and respectful homeowner relations. You will coordinate and schedule routine maintenance at the direction of your supervisor.
You will learn how to consistently uphold and ensure compliance with departmental procedures, including standards for quality, timing, attendance, appearance. You follow and ensure all Sea Island safety protocols are consistently met. You maintain situational awareness of your surroundings, keeping an eye on all areas for tidiness and any general maintenance issues, ensuring that all are corrected or reported immediately. You are generous with your support and help resolve any service issues that arise in a timely and positive way, following up as needed. You are proactive in aiding when needed and are willing to help with other areas or duties as requested. You are willing and can timely execute other duties as delegated by leadership.
- High School Diploma or equivalent credentials required
- College degree preferred
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office software applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb, stand, sit, balance, reach, bend, push, pull and walk for prolonged periods
- Must have the ability to work in an outdoor environment, including sun, heat, cold, wind, rain and higher than normal noise levels
- Ability to lift, carry, pull, and push up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout a shift
- May be exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical and fume hazards
- If applicable, must be flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
