Position Summary 

We are seeking a Marketing Intern who will be involved in all aspects of the clinic with market research, education activities, content writing and design creation. Interns will be partnered with our marketing team and work with physicians on building their brand. They will also have the opportunity to work alongside our orthopedic device industry partners in the bioskills lab and on special marketing projects. Significant focus will be placed on content creation and market research. Interns will also have the opportunity to join other healthcare learners in grand rounds, symposiums, and external events.

Position requires variable hours, Monday – Friday and some Saturdays at our Carmel, IN office or offsite at various events.

  • Developing tools and methods for collecting data such as surveys or questionnaires
  • Collecting and analyzing data to identify patient trends
  • Researching patient outcomes proposing adjustments to current strategies accordingly
  • Creating graphic representations of data and translating complex research into easily readable content for website, social media and physicians
  • Preparing marketing proposals and presentations based on company needs
  • Monitoring and managing the company’s social media platforms, adjusting outreach tactics as needed
  • Crafting content based on marketing strategies

  •  Able to read and comprehend instructions, write reports and correspondence, and respond to questions verbally and in writing
  • Routinely read, interpret, and analyze data and reports

  • Routinely applies common sense understanding of marketing and public relations
  • Routinely solves practical problems

 

Required education and experience

  • High School Diploma is required
  • Completion of at least 2 years of undergraduate degree in Marketing, Design or related field is required.

 

Preferred education and experience

  • Graphic design
  • Social media posting
