An intern will be hired each semester to work in the SBSU I.T. Department. Hours are flexible and will revolve around class schedules. SBSU strives to partner with local universities to identify Junior or Senior class students to fill our internship openings. The Intern will assist with the help desk, set up and troubleshoot employee computers and software, and other IT related tasks. Internships at State Bank of Southern Utah are anticipated to last for 8 months. The schedule will be 20 hours per week Monday-Friday, with flexible hours to fit your class schedule needs. This position will begin in January 2025 and go through August 2025.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Taking help desk calls from employees in our branches throughout Southern Utah
  • Set up and troubleshoot employee computers
  • Installing and performing upgrades on software
  • Securing proper disposal of old equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School graduate
  • Enrolled college junior or senior
  • Must pass a credit & background check
