Your Opportunity
In this role, you will perform a variety of analysis and implementation activities that help develop EIS’s products. You will work closely with other developers and gain valuable exposure to cutting-edge programming tools, UI technologies and operating environments. In this role, you will research, analyze, design, develop and sustain a large-scale information retrieval system running on AWS platform and building, testing, and deploying Java-based microservices and JavScript based UI apps.
What You’ll Do
- Provide input on system architecture, design, implementation, testing, and delivery of Java and JavaScript microservices to support full–text finder system components and interfaces.
- Work directly with product management and your team while analyzing and decomposing complex software requirements into simple user stories and tasks for planning and execution.
- Leverage and contribute to building an application using state of the art homegrown CI/CD pipeline in AWS using CloudFormation templates and AWS reference architecture.
- Demonstrate ownership of developed components from development through production.
About You
- Basic knowledge of Software Design, Algorithms, Programming, and Data Structures.
- Good experience with OOA/OOD and OO programming using core Java.
- Some experience in large systems software design and development with hands-on experience in RESTful Web Services, XML/JSON, HTTP, SSL.
- Some experience with UI development (NodeJS, NextJS, Typescript, Javascript).
- Candidate must be able to work well in a team environment and be a strong self-starter.
- Working toward or having a Bachelor’s degree in CS
