The W. P. Carey School of Business is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented part-time Intern to support the instructor of FIN 494/591 (Fintech/Blockchain) during the 2024 Fall B semester. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about fintech and blockchain, providing hands-on experience in an academic setting. The Intern will assist with various tasks, including course material preparation, grading, conducting office hours, and other duties as assigned. This position is ideal for individuals looking to deepen their understanding of fintech/blockchain while gaining valuable experience in academia.

This position is a temporary, part-time position through Fall 2024 

Working Environment
The work will primarily take place in an environmentally controlled classroom or office setting, ensuring a comfortable and professional atmosphere. The role involves extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and using a desktop computer or laptop to complete tasks such as grading assignments, posting announcements, and monitoring the course site on Canvas. The position may also require moving between classrooms or meeting spaces for office hours, proctoring exams, and interacting with students and faculty. The intern should be prepared to work both independently and collaboratively, maintaining a high level of focus and attention to detail in a dynamic academic environment.

Background Check Statement

Completion of a course of study leading to a high school diploma or equivalent; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
