This internship is only open to current high school seniors in Beaufort and Jasper counties. 

Summary:

Wastewater Operations:
Under general supervision, assists with the operation of assigned wastewater treatment plants.   Ensures the plant operates safely and effectively meeting permit requirements.  Assists in operations of treatment facilities, effluent disposal systems and collection systems.  

Water Operations:
Under general supervision, assists in operations of groundwater systems, wells, surface water treatment plant, and distribution system in accordance with all state and federal regulations. 

This internship will take place during the 2025 spring semester.  The internship will take place over 15 weeks and consist of about 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
