Overview

PITT OHIO, a $900 million, high service, highly profitable, transportation solutions provider offering SUPPLY CHAIN, GROUND, LTL and TRUCKLOAD services is seeking a Help Desk Summer Internship. This internship position is located at our corporate headquarters in the Strip District area of Pittsburgh, PA.



Responsibilities

  • Field Help Desk calls and accurately record user information and problem description
  • Assist users by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, operating system and application issues
  • Monitor team queue for new issues, and utilize ticket management software to appropriately assign and document issues
  • Perform various tasks assigned by senior technicians
  • Assist with various IT projects and objects


Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Information Technology or a related field
  • Minimum GPA of at least 3.0
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to use and support the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of Windows 11 operating system
  • Punctuality and good attendance record a must
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds
