Responsibilities:
Marketing is seeking deep customer understanding to deliver an unparalleled experience for people interacting with Lilly. At Eli Lilly and Company, Marketing is the company’s catalyst for delivering unparalleled customer experiences.
The Lilly Marketing Academy (LMA) is a 12-month rotational and development program for people starting a marketing career at Lilly and is designed to enable persons without significant prior marketing experience to develop marketing competencies critical for successful performance in an increasingly complex marketplace. Built upon the 70/20/10 adult learning principal, the LMA is comprised of formal, social, and experiential training opportunities. Participants complete 2, six-month rotations in a progressive series of entry level marketing roles under the supervision/coaching of an experienced marketer. Upon completion of two successful rotations, participants graduate from the program and are eligible to post for Marketing roles.
Key Performance Objectives/Deliverables for persons in Lilly Marketing Academy (LMA) positions:
1. Successful completion of two placements, in addition to completing all marketing required training.
2. Develop and demonstrate marketing competence through project assignments in key areas of brand management including:
Market Understanding
Customer Insights
Brand Strategy and Planning
Customer Experience
Data & Measurement
Develop and demonstrate key transferable skills, including:
Continuous Learning
Agility
Problem Solving
Communication and Influence
Business Acumen
4. Develop and demonstrate skills related to communicating with multiple key customers. (Payer, HCP, Consumer)
Basic Qualifications:
Completed a Bachelor’s Degree (or higher), preferably marketing or business focus by August 2025
Relocation to Indianapolis required
Must have successfully completed a Lilly Marketing Internship in 2024
