Teguar Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Marketing and Sales to join our dynamic team. Summary: The Marketing and Sales Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic sales and marketing plans for the entire organization (or assigned products) in order to attract potential customers and retain existing customers.

This position plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, building relationships with clients, and overseeing all marketing activities to enhance brand awareness and lead generation.

This is a full-time, in-office position that will only require occasional travel (twice per quarter).

Responsibilities:

1.       Sales Strategy and Management:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives.
  • Identify & pursue new market opportunities, potential clients, and growth areas.
  • Monitor, analyze & drive sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure sales strategies align with product offerings.

2.       Marketing Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement marketing plans to promote the company’s products or services, including advertising & digital marketing with a strong emphasis on SEO and inbound efforts, content creation, and social media campaigns.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring all activities are cost-effective and deliver a strong ROI.
  • Implement HubSpot marketing automation systems and strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee the creation of our digital marketing materials,/presence, especially our websites, presentations, and promotional content.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging across all channels and communications.

3.       Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Develop customer satisfaction programs to enhance loyalty and retention.
  • Implement HubSpot systems and strategies to manage customer data and improve the sales process.

4.       Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the product development, finance, and operations teams to ensure sales and marketing efforts align with the company’s overall strategy.
  • Coordinate with the organization to ensure a seamless customer experience from acquisition to post-sale support.

5.       Leadership and Team Development:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.

6.       Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present regular sales and marketing reports to senior management, highlighting key insights, trends, and recommendations.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust tactics as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of Sales and Marketing Experience.  OR a minimum of 8 years of Sales and Marketing experience in lieu of a degree. OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Proven experience as a Sales and Marketing Manager or in a similar role, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of market research, sales, and marketing strategies.
  • Proficient in HubSpot (Sales & Marketing Modules), digital marketing tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Technical SEO knowledge a plus
