Join Aprio’s Corporate Development Team and you will help the business continue to grow through mergers and acquisitions. Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Director, Internal Transaction Advisory to join their dynamic team.   
 
Aprio has completed over 20 mergers or acquisitions in the last 5 years, as the Company strives to become a top national accounting & advisory business. After the new partnership with Charlesbank Capital Partners, the Company intends to continue and accelerate their strategy of integrating top accounting and advisory businesses onto their platform. The Director will be the first hire in the newly formed Internal Transaction Advisory Services practice operating within Aprio’s Corporate Development and M&A team. 

Position Responsibilities:

    • Must be willing to do the work, build templates, and institute repeatable processes to allow the Company to efficiently diligence M&A targets at scale.
    • Build a small team of exceptional individuals that can work well under pressure and tight timelines.
    • Provide technical and advisory financial and accounting due diligence services on the Company’s acquisition targets.
    • Efficiently perform complex analyses, including analysis of cash flows, quality of earnings, operating and profitability trends, working capital and identification of potential liabilities and risks.  
    • Actively manage multiple engagements at a time.

Qualifications:

    • CPA and knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    • Master’s degree in accounting (with an accounting undergraduate degree).
    • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in the transaction advisory services practice.
    • Team player with exceptional communication skills.
    • Advanced MS Excel skills and strong working knowledge of other MS Office applications.
    • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and triage incoming engagement as necessary.
    • Must be able to travel based on business needs.
