Reporting to the Director of Treasury Operations, the Corporate Treasury Liquidity Manager will be responsible to develop and manage cash flow forecasting across business lines and legal entities, liquidity stress testing, and operational analytical, and workflow tasks related to Equitable’s Corporate Treasury function. While primary objectives are to develop and manage an in depth understanding of operational and investing cash flow, this position may assist in custody account and cash management, treasury project work surrounding treasury operations and project management/implementations in support of systems and payments automation efforts. This role will also be leading by example and coaching a team that nurtures and develops talent.
Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Drive implementation of short-term and longer-term cash flow forecasting at the legal entity and/or product level to capture cash collection, utilization and disbursement at the activity level.
- Manage implementation of tools, process and reporting to provide enhanced visibility into near term and long term cash flows to drive to improve operational and investment efficiencies.
- Develop reporting and modeling for liquidity stress testing, cash target setting and manage ALCO and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Lead project management and systems integration for payments automation, reporting and forecasting.
- Partner with Capital Markets colleagues to define and align contingent liquidity.
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders from various finance, actuarial, business and investment teams.
In Office Work Schedule: This position will be working in office 2-3 days/week in the Charlotte office OR remote with up to 25% travel to the Charlotte office.
The base salary range for this position is $95,000 – $120,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience as a Corporate Treasury experience with increasing responsibilities with a public corporation.
- 2+ years experience with cash and liquidity management, including cash flow forecasting in a multi entity company and management of stress testing.
- Operational experience with Treasury Management System (TMS) workstations including transaction mapping and cash management.
- Intellectual curiosity, a willingness to drill into issues, and demonstrated attention to detail.
- Project management experience with practice engaging internal and external partners to provide timely implementations.
- Provide impeccable business partner support, exercise sound judgement, demonstrate financial acumen and communicate rationale for decision-making and/or recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ability to problem solve in real-time.
- Ability to complete tasks that are under specific deadlines with no exceptions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master degree or MBA.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation or working towards it.
- Life Insurance company experience and a knowledge of life insurance and annuity products.
- Experience engaging actuaries, investments front, and back-office employees in the collection of input data and dissemination of results.
- Familiarity with fixed income investments, FHLB and collateral back-office operations.
- Solid understanding of both operational, FX and custody account structure and services.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and technical abilities using Excel, Visio, treasury workstations.
- Hands on experience with bank portals, Blackrock Alladinn, Clearwater Analytics or other investment and accounting systems.
- Established process management skills and the ability to influence and present to both junior and senior audiences.

Liquidity Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools, and techniques used to determine the degree of liquidity risk in a financial institution; ability to identify, measure, monitor and control the institution’s exposure to liquidity risk.
Treasury Services: Knowledge of treasury services; ability to properly use treasury products and services and adopt business practices that are in use by banks, financial services institutions, major corporations, governments and other entities.
Cash Management: Knowledge of the principles and methodology of cash management; ability to use tools, techniques and processes to administer and invest short-term financial inflows and outflows.
Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of “big picture” thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
Bank Account Features and Services: Knowledge of concepts, features and advantages of different types of bank accounts such as checking and savings account; ability to provide bank accounts services and solutions for individual and commercial clients.
Banking Strategy Management (BSM): Knowledge of banking strategy management (BSM); ability to use various management techniques and approaches to develop, implement, and evaluate effective banking strategies that impact overall banking operations.
