The College Football Playoff is seeking paid interns for the 2025-2026 season. These individuals will play a vital role in the success of their respective departments and contribute to the overall mission of CFP. This CFP internship program offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, providing valuable opportunities for professional growth and development within the sports industry.
CFP Interns will be employed in Irving, Texas, from July 8, 2025, to April 30, 2026. They will work Monday through Friday, with occasional opportunities for overtime on nights and weekends during peak business periods. To be considered, all candidates must have earned a bachelor’s degree by July 1, 2025.
Interested candidates who will have earned a bachelor’s degree by July 1, 2025, are eligible to apply for any of the five internships that align with their qualifications and career interests. Each application must be completed in its entirety and follow all posted instructions to be considered.
CFP Foundation:
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and implementation of the Foundation’s educational impact plans and in the development and management of educational partnerships with nonprofit organizations, conferences, bowls, and universities
- Maintain comprehensive records and files for all matters including, but not limited to, partnership agreements, contracts, marketing materials, and all relevant correspondence
- Maintain official CFP Foundation contact lists, including personnel from conferences, bowls, sponsors, and universities through Constant Contact
- Organize staff and partner meetings and teleconferences
- Assist in the planning and execution of special events and promotions including EYFT Week, Big Day, Touchdown for Teachers, Go Teach, Teacher of the Year Championship Experience, and other special events
- Serve as the initial point of contact for all incoming calls and correspondence regarding the CFP Foundation and EYFT while providing exceptional customer service
- Assist with the development and upkeep of graphic design and social media strategies across print and digital platforms
- Support ongoing video content capture strategies and provide assistance as needed
- Organize all photo and video assets in Dropbox
- Assist with mascot management
- Monitor and track all inventory and support Foundation shipments
- Monitor all CFPF kits and portals to ensure partners receive materials in a timely manner for EYFT Week, Big Day, Go Teach, High School Game Ball Recognition, and Touchdown for Teachers
- Work collaboratively with other interns and staff on office-wide projects as needed

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1+ years of applicable experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- An understanding of social media platforms and their marketing potential (Meltwater, Instagram, Facebook, and X)
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to manage, prioritize,e and bring multiple projects to completion
- Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of all corporate, personnel, and research matters
- Ability to work under pressure and autonomously; highly organized and detail-oriented
- Responsible for handling own workloads and being self-motivated
- Flexibility to work long hours including evenings and weekends
- (Preferred) 1+ years of experience in graphic design
- (Preferred) 1+ years of experience in video editing and/or photography

Offers for the program are expected to be extended to candidates in early April 2025. Selected candidates will attend an expense-paid orientation trip during the summer of 2025.
