Clow Valve – Temporary IT Help

Today, Clow Valve Company operates at two locations: Oskaloosa, Iowa, and Riverside, Calif. The Oskaloosa plants include iron and brass foundries, a machine shop, assembly, finished goods warehousing, shipping and administrative offices. The Riverside location includes a sales office and distribution center. We are proud to continue our history of offering manufactured products that comply with “Made in the USA” requirements.

We are seeking a temporary IT Help professional to join our team at Clow Valve in Oskaloosa, United States. In this role, you will provide essential technical support and assistance to ensure smooth operation of our IT systems and help maintain workplace productivity.

• Provide first-level IT support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
• Assist users with computer system operations and technical problems
• Set up and configure new computer equipment and peripherals
• Install and update software applications as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of technical support activities
• Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner
• Support basic network connectivity issues
• Assist with routine IT maintenance tasks
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure efficient system operations

Required:

-High School Diploma or equivalent required

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

-Basic understanding of computer hardware and software systems

-Strong customer service and communication skills

Preferred:

-Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
