Job Summary:
Our Client Services Administrator Intern will provide program coordination along with performing administrative functions for our clientele. They interact with Neuropath Healthcare Solutions clients by ensuring they receive the services they need and resolving any complaints. The ideal candidate should be comfortable speaking to clients, multitask efficiently, and be organized, flexible, and driven. This is an unpaid internship. A flexible schedule is allowed, but availability of 5 days per week is preferred.
Education & Experience:
- Current college student, or recent graduate.
- Applicants must be pursuing or have a completed Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, or a related field. Those with equivalent work experience will be considered.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Interact with clients via telephone or email to provide support and information on products or services.
- Collect and enter requests for new or additional services.
- Handle case assignments and service scheduling.
- Field client inquiries and complaints; when the issue is beyond your knowledge, forward it to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
- Perform client satisfaction calls.
- Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve clients’ problems and concerns.
- Maintain client accounts and records of client interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
- Attend in-service training as required by regulation.
- Adhere to all agency administrative and clinical policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities:
- Medical scheduling experience is required.
- Healthcare or Behavioral Healthcare experience is required.
- Excellent communication skills including active listening.
- Ability to multitask.
- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, or Creole preferred.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- eClinical Works or similar EMR experience is required.
- Must have experience in an office setting.
- Must consent to and pass a formal background check including fingerprinting.
Schedule:
- We are offering flexible hours. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can commit to the office five days a week, for at least 3 to 4 hours.
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Additional Information:
*This position is temp to hire. After successful completion of 90 days of employment, an offer for full-time employment may be extended.*
