Civil Engineer Intern – Public Works – Woodlands, TX
 
Halff is actively seeking an Intern for our Public Works team in our Woodlands, TX office. The Civil Engineering Intern will help with Public Works and Water & Wastewater projects. 
 
Civil Engineer Intern – Public Works Responsibilities:
  • Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
  • Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Public Works and Water & Wastewater projects
  • Perform drafting CAD work
  • Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
  • Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
  • Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
  • Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
Civil Engineer Intern – Public Works Requirements:
  • Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering Degree
  • Great communication skills
  • Solid relationship and team building skills
  • Self-motivated and strong organization skills
Interns are paid hourly and work full-time (40 hours/week), typically 8a-5p Monday through Friday.
Halff does not pay for or provide housing for Internships.
