Civil Engineer Intern – Public Works – Fayetteville, AR
Halff is actively seeking an Intern for our Public Works team in our Fayetteville, AR office. This position will assist in related studies, design, and reviews for construction and mapping projects such as airports, bridges, channels, dams, drainage systems, floodplains, public and private infrastructure, pipelines, roadways, and systems for water supply and sewage treatment. You will work as part of a team under the mentorship of a Professional Engineers (PEs) who is eager to help you grow. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, critical thinker, and problem solver. Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to take on new challenges with excellent communication skills. Background in Public Works/Land Development is a plus.
Public Works Civil Engineer Intern Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
- Great communication skills
Interns are paid hourly, and a normal work week is Monday – Friday, 8a – 5p. Occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
