Want to be part of the exciting next phase of our virtual models within Pediatric Primary Care? Advocate Health—the third largest nonprofit healthcare system in the country–invites Pediatric Advanced Practitioners to discover a new and exciting way to practice through our Virtual Services Group, affiliated with Atrium Health Levine Children’s in the SE Region and Advocate-Aurora Children’s in the Midwest Region!

We are seeking three Advanced Practitioners with at least 3 years of experience in Pediatric Primary Care, Pediatric Urgent Care, or Pediatric EM to join us in launching our enterprise-wide Urgent Care Virtual Visit programOur virtualist advanced practitioners will be staffing overnight virtual care for children of all ages in the rapidly growing communities across our Advocate Health footprint, including NC, SC, GA, IL, and WI.

 

What are Urgent Care Virtual Visits? Using video technology, the advanced practitioner can care for common acute ailments such as colds, allergies, pink eye, rashes, and more, providing convenient, real-time care to patients and their families when they need it, 24/7, without a trip to a traditional practice. 

 

Employment is shift-based, with each clinician working (3) 12hr nighttime shifts/week on a rotating basis.

 

Nurse Practitioner: Master’s Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required. License to practice as a Registered Nurse required. Certification in the area of practice from a nationally recognized certifying body required. 

 

Physician Assistant: Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program required. Master’s Degree preferred. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred.
