We are looking for a Accounting Intern interested in starting a SWEET career as at our Manufacturing unit Somerset, New Jersey.

The Accounting Intern will be a student pursing a Bachelors Degree within Accounting or Finance. The assignments will provide valuable exposure and experience in areas of:

  • Prepare journal entries for month-end closing
  • Perform variance analysis on select accounts
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts to accounting subledgers
  • Review purchase requisitions and assign proper GL/department coding
  • Conduct walkthroughs and perform interviews to understand plant processes and internal controls
  • Verify journal mapping for the new ERP system

Qualifications
  • Rising Junior in college/university, pursuing Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
  • Strong business acumen and analytical ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and organization skills and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • Self-motivated and bias for action.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated personal and professional values.
