RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide support to the accounting team with tasks such as data entry, reconciliation, and
• analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of journal entries and financial statements.
• Gain exposure to various accounting functions and processes.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
• Adhere to all municipal policies and procedures.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Accounting, Finance, or Auditing; and
• Be enrolled in a graduate level program; OR
• Be enrolled in the final academic year (Senior) of a Bachelor’s level program; and
• Commit to 20 hours per week; and
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and practical accounting experience.
