This role: A Day and week in the life…
- Work on corporate finance and accounting activities aimed at solving real-world business challenges
- Assist in developing monthly reports for analysis of forecast variances, trends and other metrics
- Improve forecasting models through the analysis of key business trends
- Assist with month-end processes, bank reconciliations, and general ledger updates
This role: You will be successful in this role if you have…
- Obtained related practical experience through prior internship(s) (preferred but not required)
- Pursued a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related Field (Junior or Senior status preferred)
- Analyzed and resolved problems
- Multitasked effectively, using your time-management skills
- Successfully owned projects, worked individually and collaborated with a team
Eligible candidates will reside in the metro Detroit, Michigan area to allow for periodic in person training and collaboration.
This is a temporary position specifically for the duration of the summer months. Employment beyond the specified end date is not guaranteed.
