Glenbrook High School District 225’s Business Office is seeking an Accounting Assistant – Accounts Receivable, effective February 3, 2025, or sooner.
The Accounting Assistant – Accounts Receivable assists the Comptroller with systems administration, maintenance of the general ledger, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. This individual must possess a working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The individual in this position must be self-directed, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven with strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills. This individual must maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, trust, and confidentiality.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of five years experience in an operational, managerial accounting, accounts receivable, or accounts payable role preferred.Desire for continued professional development is essential.
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
