An Opportunity with Point72’s Trade Support Team
The Trade Support team, part of our Operations team, provides accurate and timely reporting and services to its business partners while adhering to the highest professional and ethical standards. The team supports all operational aspects of trade processing, reconciliation, financing, and reporting firmwide.
About this role
The Operations Business Analyst Internship at Point72 provides individuals with a valuable, hands-on experience. During the 18-week internship based in our Stamford, CT office, you will gain exposure to:
- Multiple teams within Operations at Point72
- The fast-paced, competitive hedge fund world and industry best practices
- Supporting the firm’s daily trading activities for all products across global markets, including equities, derivatives, bonds, foreign exchange, and futures
- Interactions with traders and counterparties to resolve trading matters
- Providing accurate books and records for the firm on a daily and monthly basis
- Opportunities to leverage technical tools to build process efficiencies
What’s required
- Commitment of minimum 20 hours weekly from January-May 2025 onsite at our headquarters in Stamford, CT
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and/or Python
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Willigness to conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity at all times
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
