Secondary Multilingual Numeracy Curriculum Writing Team (8 positions available)

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Middle School or High School ESL or Bilingual Endorsement
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Middle School or High School Math Endorsement
• Team will be made of 2-Middle School MLL teachers, 2-High School MLL teachers, 2-Middle School Math teachers, and 2-High School Math teachers

Description

• Teachers serving on this team will collaborate to review, revise, and enhance the existing scope and sequence for the secondary numeracy class, focusing on supporting students with interrupted schooling.  After updating the scope and sequence, the team will create units of study designed to enhance and support student’s growth in their foundational math skills.

Compensation

• $35.00/hour for Licensed Teachers

Work Schedule

• Dates TBD, 3:45-5:15 p.m.

Position Duration

• Remainder of Current School Year

Important Notes

• Not to exceed 20 hours/person
• Work must be completed outside the regular work day
