Position Description: Internship-CTE & Agriculture |
Join the Alamogordo Public Schools district team as a CTE and Agriculture Intern. In this position, you will manage the agriculture needs of the CTE department, including maintaining equipment and supplies, managing the greenhouse and garden, and helping the department with other general CTE office tasks. You will also coordinate with other departments as needed. |
Essential Functions: - Manage the agriculture needs of the CTE department.
- Assist with other CTE tasks and provide general support to the CTE team.
- Work with the team to meet all deadlines.
- Work closely with the CTE team to ensure that all agriculture needs are met promptly and efficiently.

. Preferred Skills and Qualifications:- Students with coursework completed in our Agriculture program are preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to carry out physical tasks, such as carrying and lifting equipment and supplies.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Punctuality.

Conditions of Employment: Ability to comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 and, upon an offer of employment, complete an Employee’s Statement of Health and submit to a functional capacity evaluation at the District’s expense to determine ability to perform job-related functions and fitness for duty.
