The Civil Engineering Intern position will support project teams in our Real Estate and Land Development market.
Responsibilities:
- Offer support to senior engineers by utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D and understanding plan interpretations
- Provide project support by assisting in drafting documents, due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer’s opinion of probable costs, project schedules, and utility computations
- Conduct research on properties and projects for zoning including local and state requirements
- Complete site visits and field assignments as needed
- Assist in providing construction-related services such as permit applications, construction plans, and other related construction documents
- Communicate with the Project Manager and Team Leader on workload status to meet designated chargeability goals
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University
- Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Entry-level experience with AutoCAD is highly preferred
- Proven ability to work well both within a team and independently
Our standard intern pay rates range from $17-$25 per hour.
