    This position is for immediate hire of a Facilities Manager.
    Job Description attached.   Compensation A/P Pay Plan, Pay Grade 2; 12 Mo., 261 day calendar. 

    This exempt position reports to the Director of Facilities & Operations
     
    Primary Purpose
    Assist the Director of Facilities & Operations to oversee facility improvement and construction
    projects and to support Maintenance & Operations functions. Responsibilities include, but are not
    limited to, assisting with bond projects, organizing and implementing special projects, working
    directly with internal and external contractors, budget and time compliance, gathering and
    maintaining facilities

    Qualifications:
    Education/Certification:

    Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    Experience in Plant Operations, Project Management, or Service Industry Management Special Knowledge/Skills:
    Knowledge of project planning and principles of construction, school plant maintenance, and custodial operations
    Knowledge of energy management program development and implementation
    Knowledge of mechanical and electrical design and installation
    Knowledge of health and safety regulations
    Knowledge of building codes, zoning ordinances, and the inspection certification process
    Ability to communicate in written and verbal form Ability to read blueprints and schematics
    Ability to manage budget and personnel
    Ability to coordinate district functions
    Ability to implement policy and procedures
    Ability to assemble and interpret data
    Ability to conduct on-site inspections
    Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and databases
    Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

    Experience:
    Three years project management experience preferred
    Three years maintenance and operations experience of a facility, K-12/Higher Ed preferred
    Customer service industry experience preferred 

    Paygrade 2, Administrative/Professional Pay Plan
    12 month/261 work day calendar
