Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of business valuations for businesses looking to obtain a small business loan.
- Analyze financial statements and tax returns and assist in the preparation of formatting the financial data into our templates.
- Perform industry research as necessary.
- Assist senior leaders with various administrative functions, such as, but not limited to: updating models/templates, streamlining processes.
- Engages in professional interaction with teammates.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Pursuing MS and/or MBA, or Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting degree
- Strong academic record with a 3.0 GPA or above.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word
- Strong analytical skills with a willingness to learn new things.
- Resourcefulness, intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in pursuing a career in finance.
- Ability to work under pressure as a part of a small team with top company executives and senior management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, with the initiative and ability to multitask and work with limited supervision as a member of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Pay Range:
- $17.00 per hour
